It honestly hasn't set in yet. The whirlwind that was pre-production to the go, go, go of production hasn't quite lost its intensity on us. We still wake up ready to work, me thinking about my character and all the incredible women she meets in her life, Tony thinking about story arch, design and the next shot. It feels so mundane to go back to loading a dishwasher or doing laundry.
So many people came out as cast, crew, and general support to make this film come alive. It was one of the most positive and rewarding sets I've ever had the honor of being a part of. We made lots of new friends and lots of new killer collabs planned for the future! I want to give a shout out to all the extras, day-players, and PA's who showed up, killed it, and made our lives so much easier. It's amazing all the things that can slip through the cracks on a film set and you guys were there to catch them all!
"Thank you" dosen't quite cut it when I think about the women that were dedicated to this film from the beginning.
Ashely Petrie our Cinematographer brought an incredible perspective to this film and made sure that every last frame was exactly how it should be.
Hannah Ward, our 1st Assistant Director, was a tireless keeper of the clock. She kept everything running smooth as silk and always with an encouragement in her back pocket. Truley, without you Hannah, we would've run off the tracks quickly and in the most devastating way.
Abigail Kakeldey, our Line Producer, did everything and anything that we needed! Without her there would be so many missing pieces, people would be starving, and we wouldn't have any locations! She is resilient, kind, and essential to any team. She is the definition of ride together, die together bad ass.
We want to send a huge thank you to the Logan Theater for their generosity and open-heart to allow us to use their picturesque space for our film! If you guys ever are looking to watch a movie with drinks in a very art-deco space, please, please check out the Logan Theater! It's just a bunch of big-hearted sweethearts who love film.
Thank you again to everyone for every little moment, dollar, and well-wishes that were sent our way. We could've never done this without you!
